Mark Bader Hello, I’m a Director of Photography whose work crosses between documentary and commercial filmmaking. With a background and initial career in stills photography, I started creating films in the early 2000’s and have been lucky to have worked across the globe for brands, agencies and broadcasters doing just that ever since.

I believe I have an instinctive awareness of both natural and controlled lighting giving me the capacity to quickly make creative decisions and craft cinematic images and sequences from both the ordinary and the extraordinary. Working in varied and complex environments has taught me to work quickly and keep calm and focused even when under pressure. I love to connect with people from all walks of life, I have a curiosity about people and their lives and view humanity equally, in a non-judgmental and compassionate way, this helps to create a unique connection between my camera, subject, composition and light.

I film with Canon cinema camera systems and for stills I use Canon, Fuji medium format and Leica cameras. Between myself and my dedicated crew we have built a system and workflow that allows us to be agile & work very efficiently in many differing disciplines.
